AKCode owns proprietary rights to a full suite of encryption products: it can encrypt servers, hard drives, and all forms of communication, including wireless, internet, and video transmissions. The AKCode approach to encryption either supplements or improves on standard PKI approaches. The AKCode encryption solutions are useful for wireless applications because they do not require large cryptographic overheads for transmittals. They can be used where speed and preservation of limited bandwidth are essential. They can also be set at various levels of strength. Finally they are FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) certified, one of the few encryption suites to achieve this important government sign-off, yet there are versions that have been licensed for export. So they are useful in providing security involving international transfers. AKCode is currently engaged marketing its products for use in Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) applications as well as its three-factor access control card offering.
