Arthur Lowenstein
Executive Vice President and General Counsel,
Mr. Lowenstein has been practicing corporate and securities law for approximately 28 years. During that time, he has been involved with, among other things, both public and private company clients operating across a wide spectrum of industries, ranging from business and computer services and software to dairy processing, process controls, oil and gas, precious metals, apparel and home furnishings, financial services and medical products and services. Since 1999, he has been Counsel to Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP, where he was a partner from 1984 to 1999. His unusual breadth of experience includes mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, and licensing and franchising. In the securities area, his experience includes private placements and public offerings, “going private” transactions, corporate takeovers and ongoing public company representation, as well as extensive involvement with regulation of investment managers.
He received his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Board of Editors of the Fordham Law Review, in 1976, and his Bachelors degree in Sociology from Princeton University in 1971. |
